This agreement applies to all participants booking or attending Takeover Ski – Bansko January 2027 and Takeover Ski – Bansko March 2027, organised by TAKEOVER EVENTS LIMITED trading as Takeover Ski. Please read it carefully before accepting it at checkout.
PARTICIPANT ACCEPTANCE
By completing the required checkout acknowledgement, each participant confirms that they have read, understood and accepted this Traveller Declaration & Safety Agreement. No physical signature is required.
SCOPE
This agreement applies to every participant attending either Takeover Ski – Bansko January 2027 or Takeover Ski – Bansko March 2027, including the Popular and Extended packages.THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Accommodation, transport, ski hire, lift passes, lessons and optional activities may be supplied by independent third parties. Participants must follow each supplier’s reasonable terms and safety instructions. TAKEOVER EVENTS LIMITED trading as Takeover Ski remains responsible for its own obligations and for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.INHERENT RISKS
Skiing, snowboarding, mountain travel and winter activities involve inherent risks, including falls, collisions, changing snow and weather, altitude, uneven terrain, lift use and the actions of other people. Participants accept the ordinary risks of activities they freely choose, while retaining all rights and remedies available under applicable law.MEDICAL FITNESS
Each participant is responsible for considering their personal fitness and medical suitability for travel and their chosen activities. Relevant medical conditions, disabilities, allergies, medication or access needs should be disclosed where reasonably necessary so that appropriate support and suitability can be considered. Seek professional medical advice before travel if unsure.WINTER-SPORTS INSURANCE
Each participant must obtain suitable travel insurance that covers the activities they intend to undertake, including winter sports, medical treatment, mountain rescue and repatriation, cancellation or curtailment, personal liability, equipment and personal belongings. Participants are responsible for checking policy terms, exclusions and geographical cover.EQUIPMENT
Participants must use suitable, correctly fitted equipment and follow the instructions of hire providers, instructors and resort staff. Any apparent defect, damage or poor fit should be reported immediately and the equipment should not be used until it has been checked. Helmet use is strongly recommended and may be required by a supplier or activity.LIFT PASSES, LESSONS AND OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES
Lift passes, lessons, equipment hire and optional activities are included only where expressly stated in the selected package or booking confirmation. Availability, participation rules, age or ability limits and additional charges may be set by the relevant provider. Participation in optional activities is always voluntary.TRANSPORT AND PUNCTUALITY
Participants must arrive at stated meeting and departure points on time and follow reasonable transport instructions. A participant who misses a transfer or departure because they are late may need to arrange and pay for alternative transport. Reasonable assistance will be offered where practicable.CONDUCT
Participants must behave responsibly, respect other guests, staff, local communities and property, obey local laws, and follow reasonable safety directions. Dangerous, unlawful, abusive or seriously disruptive conduct may lead to removal from an activity, transport, accommodation or the trip where lawful and proportionate.ACCOMMODATION AND DAMAGE
Participants must comply with accommodation rules and take reasonable care of rooms, fixtures and shared areas. A participant may be responsible for damage or loss they cause, subject to evidence, fair assessment and applicable law. Any issue should be reported promptly so that it can be addressed.PERSONAL BELONGINGS
Participants remain responsible for passports, money, equipment, luggage and other personal belongings. Reasonable care should be taken, valuables should be secured where facilities are provided, and loss or theft should be reported promptly to the relevant provider and local authorities where appropriate.PASSPORTS, VISAS AND ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Each participant is responsible for holding a valid passport and any visa, immigration, health or entry documents required for Bulgaria and for any transit country. Requirements can change, so participants should check authoritative guidance in good time before travel.WEATHER AND DISRUPTION
Snow, weather, lift operation, transport conditions and supplier services cannot be guaranteed. Itineraries or activities may need to change for safety, operational reasons or circumstances beyond reasonable control. Takeover Ski will provide reasonable information and assistance and will meet any obligations required by applicable law.EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE
In an emergency, participants should contact local emergency services and follow the instructions of resort, accommodation, transport and medical personnel. Takeover Ski should also be informed as soon as reasonably possible so that appropriate practical assistance can be considered.LAWFUL LIMITATION
Nothing in this agreement excludes or restricts liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. Nothing in this agreement removes mandatory statutory or consumer rights.PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITY
Each participant is responsible for providing accurate information, making reasonable preparations, following safety instructions, acting within their ability and notifying Takeover Ski promptly of circumstances that may materially affect safe participation. Participants should ask for clarification before accepting this agreement if anything is unclear.ELECTRONIC ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Selecting the required acceptance checkbox during Ticket Tailor checkout records the participant’s electronic acknowledgement of this agreement. That acknowledgement applies to the participant named on the booking and forms part of the booking record; a handwritten or physical signature is not required.
