BOOKING ACCEPTANCE



By completing a booking and selecting “I agree to the Terms & Conditions”, the lead traveller confirms that they are at least 18 and accepts these terms on behalf of everyone

in the booking.



ABOUT THESE TERMS



These terms apply to bookings made with Takeover Ski. Please read them together with your booking confirmation, package description, Privacy Policy and Cancellation & Refund Policy.



BOOKING AND CONTRACT



A booking is confirmed only after cleared payment and written confirmation from Takeover Ski. The lead traveller is responsible for accurate information, communicating these terms to the group and paying the remaining balance on time. We may correct obvious pricing or description errors before confirmation.



PRICES AND WHAT IS INCLUDED



Your package includes only the items stated on the selected trip page and booking confirmation. Ski passes, equipment, lessons, helmets, private transport, room upgrades, activities and other extras are separate unless expressly included. Unconfirmed quotes may change because of supplier prices, taxes or exchange rates.



DEPOSITS, INSTALMENTS AND BALANCES



A deposit secures your allocation and is applied to the package price. The payment schedule shown at booking is binding. If a payment is missed after a reasonable reminder, we may treat the booking as cancelled by you. Amounts paid may be retained only to cover reasonable administration, irrecoverable hotel, transport or supplier commitments and our actual losses, less any savings or resale, subject to applicable law.



CANCELLATION BY YOU



Cancellation must be sent in writing to info@takeoverski.com and takes effect when received. Charges depend on the timing of cancellation and costs already committed. Deposits are generally non-refundable to the extent they have been committed or reflect reasonable losses. We may retain further paid sums only where justified by actual loss. If a place or service is recovered or resold, resulting savings will be taken into account. A breakdown is available on request. Nothing in these terms removes your statutory rights.



CHANGES AND TRANSFERS



Requested changes are not guaranteed. A name transfer may be permitted where supplier rules, eligibility, notice requirements and actual administration or supplier costs are satisfied. Where the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 apply, your relevant legal transfer rights remain protected.



CHANGES OR CANCELLATION BY US



We may make insignificant changes where necessary. If we make a significant change or cancel a qualifying package, we will provide the options and refunds required by law. Rights and liabilities arising from unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances are governed by applicable law. Snow conditions, weather and lift operation cannot be guaranteed.



PASSPORTS, VISAS, INSURANCE AND FITNESS



Each traveller is responsible for valid passports, visas, entry requirements and fitness to travel. Comprehensive travel insurance covering winter sports, medical treatment, repatriation, cancellation, equipment and personal liability is strongly required. Relevant medical conditions, disabilities or access needs must be disclosed before booking so that suitability can be considered.



SKIING AND ACTIVITIES



Skiing, snowboarding and mountain activities involve inherent risk. Travellers must follow resort, instructor and supplier safety instructions and use suitable equipment. Activities may be delivered by independent suppliers. Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.



CONDUCT AND DAMAGE



Travellers must behave responsibly and respect other guests, staff, property and local laws. Dangerous, unlawful, abusive or seriously disruptive behaviour may result in removal from an activity, transport, accommodation or the trip without a refund where lawful. The traveller is responsible for damage, loss and reasonable extra costs they cause.



ACCOMMODATION, TRANSPORT AND ROOMING



Hotels, room types and special requests are not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing. Security or damage deposits may apply. Transport and pickup points are provided only as stated in the booking. Travellers must be on time. Missed transport and independently arranged travel are the traveller’s responsibility unless expressly included in writing. Studios accommodate up to 2 guests. One-bedroom apartments accommodate up to 3 guests, including a sofa bed where required. Two-bedroom apartments accommodate up to 5 guests, including a sofa bed where required. Three-bedroom apartments accommodate up to 7 guests, including a sofa bed where required. Bedrooms generally contain separate single beds and accommodate up to two guests. Rooming preferences are collected after booking, but exact apartments, bed types, roommates and requests cannot be guaranteed.



FOOD, ALLERGIES AND SPECIAL REQUESTS



Halal meals and other catering are included only where stated for the selected package. Allergies, dietary requirements and accessibility requests must be disclosed before booking and are not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing. Suppliers cannot guarantee an environment free from cross-contamination.



MEDIA AND PRIVACY



Takeover Ski trips may be photographed or filmed. Tell our team before or during the trip if you do not want identifiable images used for promotional purposes. A parent or guardian must consent for children. Personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.



COMPLAINTS



Please report problems immediately to the Takeover Ski representative or relevant supplier so there is an opportunity to resolve them. If unresolved, email full details and supporting evidence within 14 days of returning home.



LIABILITY AND STATUTORY RIGHTS



We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful. The Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 and other mandatory consumer rights apply where relevant. Separately booked or independent services may also be governed by the supplier’s terms.



GOVERNING LAW



These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, without removing any mandatory consumer rights or right to bring a claim in another applicable jurisdiction.
