01
Your booking and payments
A booking is secured only when the required payment is received and confirmation is issued. Deposits and instalments are allocated to accommodation, transport, administration and other supplier commitments made for your place.
02
If you cancel
Tell us in writing as soon as possible at info@takeoverski.com. Cancellation takes effect when we receive your notice. Charges will reflect the timing of cancellation and the costs, commitments and losses that cannot reasonably be recovered, and may be up to 100% of the booking price close to departure.
03
Deposits and instalments
The £80 deposit is generally non-refundable once your place is confirmed because supplier commitments begin immediately. Later instalments and full payments may also be non-refundable to the extent they have been committed or cannot be recovered. This is always subject to your mandatory legal rights.
04
Missed payments
Payment dates shown at booking are binding. If an instalment is missed, we may contact you and allow a reasonable opportunity to pay. If payment remains overdue, we may treat the booking as cancelled, release the place and apply the cancellation terms above.
05
Names, transfers and changes
A name change or transfer to another traveller requires our written approval and may be limited by supplier rules. You must pay any genuine amendment fee or increased supplier cost. The original traveller remains responsible until the transfer is confirmed.
06
Medical issues, visas and no-shows
Illness, injury, personal circumstances, visa refusal, missing travel documents, late arrival, missed transport and failure to travel do not automatically create a right to a refund. Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended from the date of booking.
07
Add-ons and third-party services
Flights, UK transport, ski passes, equipment, lessons, insurance, ATVs, snowmobiles and other add-ons may have separate supplier terms. Where we arrange an add-on, any cancellation charge will reflect the relevant supplier terms and unrecoverable cost.
08
Changes we make
We may make minor, reasonable changes to timings, pickup points, accommodation or activities where necessary. If a significant change affects your booking, we will explain the available options and any refund or alternative required by applicable law.
09
If we cancel
If Takeover Ski cancels the package, we will offer the remedy required by applicable law, which may include an alternative arrangement or a refund of payments due. We are not responsible for separate travel or other arrangements you booked independently unless the law says otherwise.
10
Unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances
Events beyond reasonable control can affect travel. Where the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 apply, your rights—including any right to terminate without a fee in qualifying circumstances—remain fully protected.
11
Refunds when due
Any refund legally or contractually due will normally be returned to the original payment method after the amount has been confirmed. Bank or payment-provider processing times may apply. We will explain any permitted deduction clearly.
12
Fairness, complaints and legal rights
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable UK consumer and package-travel rights. Contact us promptly if something goes wrong so we can investigate and try to put it right.
Important legal note
This policy must be read with your booking confirmation and Terms & Conditions. Nothing here removes any statutory right or remedy that applies to your booking.
